Singapore's PSA wins twice at Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards

SINGAPORE's PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA) has scooped for the eighth year in a row the Best Global Container Terminal Operating Company award, and sister company PSA Singapore Terminals was named the Best Container Terminal - Asia (over four million TEU per year) for the 24th time at the 27th Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) held in Beijing.

AFSCA is an annual event organised by shipper and supply chain newspaper Cargonews Asia. More than 11,000 readers were polled to select best-in-class companies in 39 industry-specific categories. Award winners are regarded as industry benchmarks of excellence in their respective areas, a PSA statement said.

Said PSA International chairman Fock Siew Wah: "We are honoured and yet humbled to receive these twin awards as they signify our industry's continuing vote of confidence in PSA. These accolades testify to the collective efforts and commitment of our PSA staff, unions and management in delivering the high productivity and value-add which we are known for."
