Global Logistics Properties leases 32,000sq metres to Yunda in Suzhou

THE provider of modern logistics facilities, Global Logistic Properties Limited (GLP), has leased 32,000 square metres to Yunda Express in Suzhou, eastern China, to one of China's largest express delivery companies, Yunda Express.

The Chinese express company will establish a sorting and distribution centre at GLP Park SND to meet the increasing demand for e-commerce-related delivery in Suzhou and Wuxi, two major consumption centres in eastern China, according to UK's Transport Intelligence.

Said Yunda Express China president Kent Yang: "Demand for modern logistics facilities from the third party express delivery industry remains strong in China, thanks to the continuing growth in domestic consumption and shift towards e-commerce."
