IAG Cargo opens 5 temp control stations 5 Latin American countries

IAG Cargo, the unit emerging from the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo in 2011, has extended its Constant Climate network, a specialist service for the temperature-sensitive pharma products,

The development follows the nearly nine per cent growth of Latin America's pharmaceuticals industry in 2012.

The additional Latin America stations have opened at El Dorado International Airport (Bogota), Juan Santamaria International Airport (Costa Rica), Tocumen International Airport (Panama), Simon Bolivar International (Venezuela), and La Aurora Airport (Guatemala).

Global Head of Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Alan Dorling said, "Pharma is one of the great success stories for Latin American businesses and we plan to be there to support them with cutting edge cargo services operated by specialist staff trained to deal with this highly sensitive cargo."
