Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics expands after merger with Neptumar

A SUBSIDIARY of Swedish transport group, Greencarrier, Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics, has merged with Neptumar, owned by the German transport group Menzell & Doehle, with the new company offering a wider range of services than before.

The new enterprise will operate under the name of Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics AB with offices in Gothenburg and Norrkoeping.

"Our merger with Neptumar in Sweden and the coming cooperation with the Menzell & Doehle group in Germany is a very important step in the development of Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics," said Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics managing director Joachim Lagerstedt.

" This will create opportunities in the future for continued growth, expansion and development of the business," he said.

The greatest strength for the new Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics is its representation of more liner agencies to cover a wider service portfolio. However, it will also benefit from further synergies in other fields, including project shipping.
